Require credit/debit cards at checkout

Learn how to toggle the requirement of credit/debit cards for the checkout page (Stripe connection required)

You can choose to require credit card at checkout if you have installed one of our booking forms on your website and have your ModernMaid.io account connected with your Stripe account.

Here is how:

  1. Settings -> General
  2. Scroll down to the "Booking and Pricing" section
  3. Toggle the "Require credit card on checkout page" switch to "On"

  • Setting this to "On" eliminates the Cash/Check options for customers to choose from
